All of the products offered from Slone Brothers Furniture come with a full manufacturer warranty. These warranties commonly vary in length from one year to limited “lifetime”. Further details on the manufacturers’ warranties will generally be attached to the item when your new furniture arrives or by request from your sales consultant. Manufacturer’s warranties typically do not cover labor or transportation beyond one year; even a “lifetime” warranty usually covers replacement parts only. The manufacturer’s warranty begins at the time merchandise is delivered.
Helpful tips to consider about your new furniture is wood furniture will have natural variations in grain and color, and may contain inherent characteristics such as knots, mineral streaks, pitch pockets, tiger striping and insect markings, which are not considered quality defects. Many woods pieces today have simulated antique markings (distressing) commonly mistaken as defects.
Glass components such as mirrors, shelves, table tops and doors may contain minor hairline scratches, small air bubbles, surface waviness or lightly pitted areas that occur naturally during the manufacturing process and are not considered quality defects.
Metal, marble, granite and stone components on wood furniture may vary in color and texture, and geological veins and voids, which occur naturally as these materials are created and are not quality defects. Due to the handcrafted nature of decorative metal components, such as wrought iron, slight variations in size and shape can be expected, and are not quality defects.
Upholstered and leather furniture are constructed of various man-made and natural materials, variations in dye lot may possibly occur between floor samples and fabric sample swatches. Inherent markings in leather are left intact and present the character and appeal as described as “nature’s signature”, these naturally occurring marks are not considered defects. Wrinkling, wearing, fading and piling are not covered defects. The cushions of your upholstered piece are made up of various layers of foam and polyester wrapping. While foam will soften, it should not lose resilience or the ability to recover from compression. Polyester wraps, used to create surface softness, will, over time, lose some of the initial loft, which may contribute to cushion flattening and wrinkling. This is normal.
Slone Brothers Furniture is pleased to perform minor repair services on merchandise, delivered by us, in the home, at no charge if notified within 72 hours of delivery. Floor samples, clearance items, and as-is merchandise are sold in its existing condition and are warranted only for manufacture defects developing within one year of the initial sale. We reserve the right to repair or replace merchandise at the sole discretion of Slone Brothers Furniture and/or applicable manufacturer.
